JP Talley grew up in a Christ centered home as the youngest child of a minister.  Even with all the stigma around being a P.K. (preachers’ kid), JP was led by a Godly father and mother to know Jesus Christ by the age of 7.  You could say that the calling and love to minister was installed early on in life. 

JP went to school for music education where he used that degree to teach band for several years.  Ultimately God called JP to play music full time as a touring/professional drummer for 20+ years with many worship groups, CCM artists, studios, and churchs.  JP has also worked as a college teacher, recording arts teacher, AV installer, technical director, Worship Arts Director, live sound engineer, and more.

During JPs time as a musician, he formed a love for the “tech guy” and saw how media can be used (and in many ways reformed) to spread the good news of the Gospel. This also included JPs heart for bringing unity and cohesion between music and tech.
